Be your own style and don’t let others’ perception of you become reality!
Now that is a mantra I’d heard once, the author of which to me is unknown and it’s all about knowing what results you want to achieve and sticking to them without others infiltrating your drive and positive focus.
We have worked with a number of clients that have had their perception of how to follow through a sales process dictated by the industry around them – ‘If you want to achieve the same you always have done then remain the same. If you’re expecting different results then act differently’. (Author also unknown)
For those of you reading this who actively call your prospects let’s use this personally driven mindset to make sure that you are not placed in the same bucket (read ‘dustbin/trashcan’) as the other businesses selling their product or services to the prospect:
To be in business as an owner/director very little will rock your boat and we recommend this also be applied to motivation and approaches in sales too!
